Witnesses: Hoping for a clean catch - Commentary in 3D

No EXIF data is available

I was watching the news coverage on the pollution problem that is affecting the whole world - this image came to mind of nature, plants and animals watching us humans as we slowly but surely destroy the earths atmosphere while they stand as witnesses - probably wondering why we would then expect to get clean food and clean air from a place that we have willingly contributed to its destruction - Addiction to oil consumption.

Below is an image showing the 3D program I used to create the above image. Vue Infinite

Not only are we destroying the earth for ourselves; we are taking the poor animals with use and we continue to encroach on their habitat

I have attached an image showing the wireframe of the above, in case you are wondering how I created it. I used a 3D program called Vue Infinite - its the same program used by ILM, in the creation of scenes for Pirates of the Carribean.

Cool stuff - sadly, I'm technically challenged. Soreel - are you setting up private business or have you already?  Seems there's opportunities...

Hi SugarBabes

I have seriously considered that - you can see more of my work over at www.sowl.com - I took a trip to Uganda this past Christmas, I was there for 3 weeks. One thing that caught my attention was the quality of the TV ads, I just sat there smiling - thinking to myself, like "Man!" - compared to the quality over here in the west, we still have a ways to go.  I definitely see myself playing a part in changing that.

I think if the media in uganda would invest in more educational programming similar to what the Discovery Channel and TLC are doing, the series is called Planet Earth - sensitizing the world on the value of nature and how to balance that with technological advances.

Until we learn to take care of the planet, and invest more in alternative energy sources such as wind power and solar energy - we will not be able to reduce the effects of global warming, which by the way is no longer a myth.

The more trees we cut down in the third world, the more we contribute to global warming and weather changes that lead to droughts, which in turn affect food crops etc

There is also a problem of the worldwide population boom which is stretching the natural resources that available on earth.  This I believe has contributed to a huge demand and consumption of oil, vehicles in countries such as China and India - and this leads to air pollution because of the number of vehicles being driven.

Thats why alternative energy sources such as solar energy - if used in Cars and heating and cooling of homes, can help alleviate some of those problems.

I agree with your take Soreel.  What you propose is something that you alone may have to follow up privately because the media in Uganda does not work along the lines of how media houses here in the West do.  At best they are frustrating like most other institutions.  I will most definitely get in touch to see how you and some persons I know can build something out of your proposal...

Its such a waste of skills and talent that goes by the wayside for lack of investment in the persons on ground that amazes me.
